AIESEC - INTERCÂMBIO INTERNACIONAL

 

 

Olá Pessoal, está é Alexia Vasdeki, uma intercambista da AIESEC, de Atenas, Grécia que está em minha casa passando alguns meses. Este intercâmbio promove um trabalho que deve ser desenvolvido com uma finalidade social pelos intercambistas. Minha filha Karina esteve na Rússia por três meses também recentemente. Alexia é estudante do último ano de Administração de Empresas e está fazendo um trabalho junto às escolas municipais de Joinville, proporcionando aos estudantes conhecimentos culturais da Grécia e de sua civilização. É muito importante participar de intercâmbios, pois possibilita uma visão de mundo muito mais ampla com a integração cultural de diferentes povos. Quem tiver interesse em fazer intercâmbio com a AIESEC pode ir até  o escritório deles, que em Joinville fica no Campus da UDESC, ao lado da Univille. Seja Bem vinda Alexia. Hello to all!

My name is Alexia Vasdeki, I am 22 years old and I come from Greece. I was born and lived there for all my life, and I am currently studying at Athens University of Economics and Business, Business Administration and I am in my last year of studies.

Three years ago I had the opportunity to meet an amazing organization called AIESEC, which I immediately joined. This organization changed me as a person, it made me open my eyes,  learn things and most of all develop myself. Having said that, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and do something different. So I took part in one of the most popular programs that AIESEC offers, the Global Community Development Program, and I came to Brazil for 2 months in order to teach voluntarily to children in schools about various issues.

I am staying with the Bottene family which had been an amazing experience since they have made me feel as part of the family and I can really see and understand the Brazilian culture and everyday life.

For me Brazil is beautiful because of its people. You are so open and caring and seem to enjoy every day of your life, trying to make the most out of it. I am really happy and glad that I have the opportunity to be here and live in a state, Santa Catarina, which is actually bigger than my whole country!
